Small points of white-blue light gather between the lowered face and raised hand, with the crescent above the forehead extending the same pattern upward. The figure occupies the centre and right of the image, leaving a broad near-black field on the left. This imbalance concentrates the lit forms without supplying a recognisable setting; depth remains shallow, defined mainly by overlap and tonal difference.
Cobalt, violet and blue pass through the dress, skin and hair, while restrained warmer notes appear at the mouth and ear. The brightest areas recur across the hair, face, fingers and scattered lights, linking forms that otherwise sit against deep darkness. In the original painting, broad strokes describe the dress and body, while smaller marks break the edge of the hair into the surrounding dark.
